Good location for exploring Port Arthur and its surrounds.    Barbara, ACT April 08 Rating: 5 /5 Our one night stay in the Viking Cottage was very enjoyable.We were most impressed in the way that Jacqui and Ben have decorated and arranged the room.Their personal touches created a warm welcomed feeling. It was fresh looking and very clean.The bed was most comfortable as well. Ben and Jacqui were very friendly hosts and were most helpful with their local history and tourist tips. The Rocking Horses are true works of art. Our hosts, Ben & Jacqui were very friendly, helpful and made us feel like part of the family.Their local knowledge and suggestions for touring the area was such a bonus for us. The magnificent views over the bay & great location make Rocking Horse Cottage one of the best value stays in Tasmania. Perfect base for touring the area. We didn't want to leave. The location and scenery from the unit was superb and very peaceful and relaxing with the accommoation itself very clean and tidy. To top this off, the owners were extremely friendly (without being in your face) and could not do enough for you.
